How to enrol into a course

2 easy steps to enrol online into the course:

Step 1.

Register yourself online to get your own User Id and Password

  1. Click on ‘Registration’ left menu
  2. Fill all the fields including the user id and password of your preference on the application form and click on ‘Register’ button
  3. You will get a confirmation message and an email. Now you can login with your new user id and password at any time. Remember your user id and password.

Step 2.

Enrol yourself online, into a course

  1. Login into the RCI elearning site at www.eLearnRCI.com by clicking on the ‘Login’ top menu
  2. Click on ‘My Courses’ left menu
  3. Click on ‘Enrol Course’ top menu to see all RCI online courses
  4. Click on ‘Foundation course on Education of Children with Disabilities’ to see details of that course
  5. You will see a status message about the class start date, available seats etc.
  6. Click on ‘Enrol Now’ button
  7. Select mode of payment as DD and enter DD number
  8. You will receive an email confirmation and upon validation of your payment and documents, you will be enrolled into the course
  9. To check up your status click on ‘My Progress’ left menu

Note:

Learners must attach all the documents like qualification, employer certificate as mentioned in the “Document uploads for the FCED Programme” (See handbook) column at the time of applying online.

Payment will be accepted only through Demand Draft of the nationalized banks.
DD should be in favour of “Member Secretary, Rehabilitation Council of India” payable at New Delhi.
Please enter your payment details like DD#, Date, Issuing bank on the payment screen while you are enrolling for the course.
Also, don't forget to write your Application/Registration # on reverse side of your DD before you mail it to RCI to this address:

Once submitted, you shall receive confirmation by automated mail.

Upon submission of these certificates and verification by RCI, admission status will be displayed on the e-module.
To check up your status click on ‘My Progress’ left menu

The enrolment of the course will be completed only upon clearance of the Demand Draft and fulfilment of other eligibility for admission to the Course.

The Distance Education Cell will scrutinize the application forms submitted online and give admission to the eligible learners fulfilling the admission eligibility criteria for the course.
The list of the selected learners would be uploaded on the e-module and would be sent through email available through link provided to the respective Skill Training Centres for conducting Skill Training Programme.
The programme would start in the prescribed month.

How to access the Course

  1. After the successful registration, the learners will be enrolled into the course. Kindly visit http://www.rehabcouncil.nic.in and click on the ‘eLearning at RCI’ link or visit www.eLearnRCI.com to login with your user name & password.
  2. After a successful login, click on ‘My Courses’ left menu to see the enrolled course. Click on course link to learn the course or click on any available links to plan course, download material or work on assignments.
  3. Learner will have access to various menus to find his progress, see reports and help.
  4. We have provided online chat facility for any doubt or clarification regarding the course. Learners can also access previous queries through learner forum.
  5. You can send an e-mail to support@elearnrci.com for any clarification and the same shall be replied within two working days. (E-mail ID of all the approved SME will be uploaded on the e-module)
  6. Learners have to submit four (04) online assignments, one for each block given in the Self Learning Material online. Submission of online assignments shall be a prerequisite for attending Skill Training Programme, practical examination and Term End Theory Examination.
  7. Learners have to attend compulsory Skill Training Programme of 12 days at selected Skill Training Centre at the end of which the practical exams will be conducted at the Skill Training Centres.
  8. Practical records must be submitted on the last day of the Skill Training Programme at Skill Training Centre, failing which practical marks will not be awarded.
  9. On completion of three months of registration, online submission of all four assignments, 100% attendance of the Skill Training Programme, submission of practical records and after appearing the practical examination at STC; the dates and the center for online theory Term examination will be uploaded on the e-module and learners will appear for online term end theory examination. The result shall be uploaded on the website after the completion of examination.
  10. Learners have to give online request to reappear the Online Term End Examination in case learner fails in the attempt or fails to appear the examination

1.What is online learning?

Online learning or e-learning is a term used to describe distance or correspondence courses that are offered over the Internet. The courses offered through online learning cover a wide range of subjects, audiences, and prices. This educational method is growing in popularity as a cost-effective method of providing access to education for a large population.

There are five main reasons behind the growth in online learning: access, efficiency, stability, cost, and technology.

2.How do I register with a course?

First you need to register online to get your login and password. Then you enrol into a course by fulfilling necessary requirements like online document submission, fee payment etc. Please refer the questions on how to register and enrol.

3.What is on the home page?

Home page is the initial page when you enter this online learning application. From home page you can find more about the course provider and contact details on the top menu. On your left menu you will find buttons for the courses, features, registration for login and enrolment into course. Once you get the login, you will be clicking on the 'Login' top menu to enter the application.

4.How to register for Login?

Click on 'Registration' left menu and you will see a page where you need to submit details about your name, qualifications, experience etc. You also will enter your desired login id and password. Upon successful submisstion, you will use these login details every time you want to login to the site. Click here for demo.

5.How to enrol a course?

If you are already registered by using 'Registration' left menu, you need to click on the 'Login' top menu to enter your login id and password. Then you will be taken into your dashboard (your's only home page). Click on the 'My Courses' left menu to see your courses already enrolled. Click on 'Enrol Course' top menu to enrol a course.

6.Is there any fee?

Yes, you need to pay Rs.2000/.

7.How do I pay the fee?

You can pay the fee by a DD.

Once you login, you will see a specific 'Help' on left menu. You will find more details here on how to study online, take tests, check reports and progress and many more features.
You will find details about pre-requirements, course contents etc. on course info page while you enrol. You also can download a specific course handbooks while you are enrolling that course.

9.When will this course offered again?

This course is offered online every month. For detailed schedule, please check the handbook.
